On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Alberto Yepes will speak at the American University Washington College of Law in a panel titled “Assessment of the Human Rights Situation in Colombia.”
The event will focus on the ongoing challenges facing human rights defenders and social leaders, as well as the broader human rights landscape in Colombia. Mr. Yepes will bring insights from decades of fieldwork and international advocacy, offering a critical perspective on the realities communities face on the ground.
