On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Alberto Yepes will give a special talk at the Morris County Library in Whippany, NJ, titled “Colombia – U.S.: Immigration, Peace, and Human Rights.”
As a respected human rights activist, expert witness before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, and coordinator of the CCEEU Observatory for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, Mr. Yepes will explore the intersections between migration, peacebuilding, and the ongoing defense of human rights in Colombia.
